Digital Story
I need help! I have an idea for my digital story but do not know if it will work. I would like to see what you all think. I would like to do my digital story on the matter and its states. What do you think? It will be simple. Just something to go with our unit that we will be teaching in May. Please give me any feedback. Thank you!

Yes, I like this idea. You can define each of the states of matter, use examples, and allow time in class for students to offer other examples. The digital story could be a good way for you to introduce or review with students this unit in your curriculum. I also suggest you supplement the digital story with hands-on science work. If you are ambitious and want to also capture video, you can add video of states of matter in movement, such as liquids spilling.
ReplyDeleteThis week, several of the students in the other class will have their digital stories in their blogs. Right now, the stories are in "draft" stage. Several of them are for elementary school children. For instance, check the one that Lisa did about telling time and the times of the day. You could probably use that one with your students.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestions! When you say videos of hands on science, do you mean I should record it and it to my digital story? Or can I find some online? I will keep my open to their examples.
